amazing breakdown. funny you had that reaction to revisiting the "silly version", i was blown away by the contrast in imagery in the demo. the updated lyrics absolutely set a more serious tone, especially to the jam outro (one of my favorite parts of the live set last November). but I really really love that limbo demo, I'm glad you looked on it with more fondness upon revisiting, "he says we can smoke over there" is burned in my brain.

the dogs is also a top slaughter beach track in my mind! safe & also no fear holds such a special place in my heart, I remember getting drunk on margaritas & just crying & crying in the crowd with my friend in KC on that release tour.
