“when we finished tracking the basics for this one at the metal shop, there was a sense that we had just moved through something together—stumbled into a weirdo forbidden storeroom and then tip-toed away backwards to avoid disturbing anything (or anyone). over the next few months adam added some subtle guitars from nashville, logan layered in hammond & grand piano at retro city, and zack wrapped the whole tune in a small galaxy of synths, percussion and guitars that finally made it swell into something greater than the sum of its parts. proud to share this one with you.

Been listening to this all day. This song is like a drive through the roads of memories close, but not close enough to walk through. Like a park that's too far to walk, but not far enough to warrant a drive, so you just think about going and that's enough. But this song brings me there, and I see the memories that used to bring me comfort but were forgotten.
